The room at Richwin Villa Dambulla was amazing! I loved the private entrance and the soundproof walls, which made me feel like I had my own little sanctuary. The private bathroom was spa-worthy, with a hot tub, shower, and all the free toiletries I needed. Plus, the mountain view from the room was simply breathtaking. And to top it off, the free WiFi was a lifesaver for staying connected during my trip.
Personally, I didn't love the bidet in the bathroom. But hey, that's just my preference and I know others might appreciate it.

We got amazing value for our money at Richwin Villa. The room was comfortable and cozy, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, nestled in nature and close to attractions. The staff treated us like family, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better was if there were more options on the menu.

I chose Richwin Villa in Dambulla because it was conveniently located near the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs, a place I had been wanting to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the property's additional features such as the availability of a paid airport shuttle service, bike and car hire options, and the helpful tour/ticket assistance. The room amenities, including a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, a wardrobe, and an outdoor dining area with garden views, added a touch of comfort and relaxation. The breakfast options were also varied and delicious.
Since the premise was under construction, I faced some difficulty in parking my small car in the muddy garden area in front of the rooms. Moreover, due to the ongoing construction, the garden area was muddy, especially as it was raining during my visit.
